Day 1 : Welcome
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight
Day 2 : Gorée Island.
After breakfast, short visit to Dakar, transfer to Gorée by the boat at 12:00. Arrival in Gorée, installation at the villa Castel. Visit of the House of Slaves, the Historical Museum and other curiosities of Gorée in the afternoon. Relaxation at the beach, dinner and overnight at villa Castel.
Day 3 : Saint-Louis
After breakfast, return to Dakar, continuation to Pink Lake to the salt collectors. Optional lunch, continuation to Cayar (fishing village), and Saint Louis at the end of the afternoon. Overnight at Siki hotel.
Day 4 : Saint-Louis
After breakfast, visit of La Langue de Barbarie National Park at the mouth of the Senegal River; return to Saint Louis in the early afternoon. Optional lunch. 5:00 p.m. City tour of Saint Louis in a horse-drawn carriage. Overnight at Siki hotel.
Day 5 : Saint Louis
After breakfast, departure for the village of Mbakhana with its old water supply factory facilities. Overnight at Siki hotel.
Day 6 : Djoudj Park
After breakfast departure for the ornithological park of Djoudj. Visit of the park by motorized canoe – Overnight at Lampsar Lodge.
Day 7 : Podor
After breakfast, departure Djoudj for Podor. Installation at the Guillaume Foy house in Podor. Visit the fishing village of Ngawlé in Amorphie Island. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 : Richard Toll
After breakfast, departure for the town of Richard-Toll, the most important rice-growing town in Senegal, as well as the Richard-Toll sugar factory. Installation at the Etape of River lodge. Overnight.
Day 9 : Kaolack
After breakfast, departure from Richard-Toll for the religious city of Touba. Visit of the mosque of Touba, the largest mosque in black Africa, visit of the market and possible loumas (weekly markets) and continuation to Kaolack. After an optional stop (at the Touba Oil restaurant), arrive in Kaolack at the end of the afternoon. Installation at the Relais de Kaolack hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10 : Palmarin
After breakfast, departure from Kaolack for Palmarin. Arrival at Joal Fadhiout for the visit of the shells cemetery of Fadhiout. Optional lunch at Finio de Joal, the city that saw the birth of the first President of the Republic of Senegal Léopold Sédar Senghor and stronghold of the Sérère ethnic group and continuation to the Niassam hills on the road to Palmarin and Djiffer. Installation at the Collines de Niassam hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : Return flight.
Relaxation day and in the afternoon, departure from Niassam to the airport for return flight.
